Zest goes extra mile to support Subway 5k Fun Runs 2016.

Zest’s promo staff have worked with leading activation agency Prism for the last 2 years to support them with their crazy Subway Helping Heartsâ„¢ 5k Family fun run’s in up to 11 locations, all over the country.  It is a family event where an estimated 800-1000 participants can run or walk the course and enjoy an inflatable obstacle course at the end.

From vanilla brand ambassadors, to ‘subman’ suit wearers and team leaders, this is certainly a job for the energetic type.

The role is varied and includes supporting different areas within the event. Our promo staff provide support such as helping out at the registration desk and handing out medals and water at the finish line. They supervise children whilst on the family village inflatables and support games in the family area. They also hand out Lunch boxes at the Subway stand.

Ensuring the event runs smoothly

To ensure that events run smoothly, we call each staff member and give them written briefings so that we can select the right people for the job.

For this particular event, we need energetic, confident and proactive staff that are reliable, and so when we call them, we can really understand their personality and whether or not they are suited to the job.

On the 22nd of May we kick started the 2016 Subway Fun Run events in Motherwell, Scotland. Our fabulous team arrived at 9am to set up and get ready for the event which commenced at 10:30am with the opening of the family village. The race then started at 12:00pm and our staff proactively helped the PRISM team to ensure the event was successful.

Colin, our Team Leader said ‘Really smooth and fun campaign. Everything went without a hitch and all the zest team were proactive, friendly and efficient with everyone pulling their weight. The team worked well with other event teams and the run itself was a huge success.’
